MAMBA – HAITIAN PEANUT BUTTER

Ingredients

200 gm unsalted toasted Peanuts
20 ml peanut oil
1 ½ Scotch Bonnets
1/2 tsp salt

 

Method

  1. Pulse the Peanuts in the food processor until it becomes a smooth paste.
  2. Add oil if the food processor is struggling, or you want a smoother paste
  3. Add half the Chilli, and Salt. Pulse again until it is well-mixed.
  4. Add more Chilli if you want it
  5. Once you have found the taste you like pour into a clean jar with a tight-fitting lid and keep refrigerated. It lasts about a week.
